No Eye Has Seen
1 Corinthians 2:9-10 However, as it is written: "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him" —but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. 2 Corinthians 4:18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. As I write this, there is so much on my mind, so many things happening in the world, even in my little corner of the world. I can't pretend to understand them, although I ask for wisdom to do so. I also ask the Lord for courage and strength to make it through. The two verses above came to mind as I began. About three weeks ago, I went for my yearly eye exam. I switched eye doctors, which is something I'd wanted to do for awhile.
